About Us
Hard Knox Games is a dream of ours that started long ago after our favorite local game store went out of business. It began as the Arm Chair Kommando game club which met often at first but then drifted apart as our members were lured away by the siren song of various MMORPG's.
We still oft waxed poetic about bygone days we spent gaming into the wee hours of the night, but naysayers liked to tell us that game stores are a dying breed, "Everyone plays online games these days".
We kindly disagree. We believe that a good game store with a friendly and clean environment will revitalize tabletop gaming in Hardin County, Ft. Knox and the surrounding areas. Now, with your help, we aim to prove it.

What is Tabletop Gaming anyway?
Tabletop game is a general term used to refer to board games, card games, dice games, miniatures wargames, tile-based games and other games that are normally played on a table or other flat surface. The term is used to distinguish these types of games from sports and video games.
The term is also used to distinguish role-playing games from role-playing video games, although role-playing games do not necessarily require a playing surface.
While video/computer games and tabletop games are by no means mutually exclusive, we neither sell them or provide an area to play them at our facility due to the abundance of well established video game stores in the area.
