Warlords Games: Mythic Americas: Inca Ayllus Warriors

The Ayllus Warriors are skirmishers armed with a special bolas weapon called an Ayllus. They skirt the edges of battle seeking to delay and frustrate enemy movements. Working alongside other Inca troops, like Cuzco Warriors, they trip and impede the enemy making them slow and vulnerable to the savage attacks of their fellow warriors.

In game the Ayllus is a short-ranged weapon that forces saves against a targets AG rather than the usual Res stat. Crucially unsaved hits can force the target to become Slow 4 and eliminate their ability to sprint. Additionally, successful use against a Flying target can ground it. Cunning use of this weapon will stymie your opponents ability to quickly reposition on an emerging battlefield.
